A meeting of Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) was held on 10 December,2016 at the conference room of IQAC. The meeting was presided over by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Saroj Kanti Singh Hazari. Member of Board of Trustee Board, Ms. Hasnain Ahmad Afreen, Dean, FBA, Registrar-in-charge, Head of English, Pharmacy, CSE, Law, Coordinators of BBA programs, Director (F&A) were present in the meeting.

Director, IQAC gave a presentation titled "Challenges of facing Accreditation Council." Additional Director, IQAC also gave a presentation on the ongoing & completed programs of IQAC.

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor in his speech highlighted on the importance of quality education in higher education. Member of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Hasnain Ahmad Afreen assured the IQAC of all out support in carrying out the activities of IQAC at BGCTUB.

The following decisions were taken  in the meeting to raise the image of the university & ensure better service to the students.

* Promotional activities of the university are to be increased

* Increasing the facilities of the computer labs of CSE Department

* Establishment of a Career Development Cell at the university

* Increasing the common room facilities for the students (both male & female)

* Holding academic Committee meetings regularly.
